History
Welcome to McHugh & Co. We are a family run independent estate agents and online property auctioneers established in 1983 by our founding partner Christopher McHugh. Christopher was born and brought up in Camden Town which is where our office is based.
McHugh & Co have been successfully selling property by auction since our inception. We have held our live auctions at various prestigious locations in London including most recently The Montcalm Hotel, Marble Arch, W1H, The BAFTA, Piccadilly, W1J and the Café Royal Hotel, Regent Street, W1.
At a time when we were unable to hold our well attended live ballroom auctions, we adapted quickly by adopting to sell via the online timed auction method on our website. We have gone from strength to strength by holding remote online auctions for a number of years where our bidders can bid online on the go or from the comfort of their own homes or offices via desktop, laptop, tablet and phone

What we do
McHugh & Co are primarily online property auctioneers who have the capacity to sell nationwide throughout the UK. We hold frequent auctions every year with each auction including a wide variety of lots mainly including houses, flats, garages, and commercial property. Our future auction dates and available lot listings can be found in the auction section. Our online auction sales are conveniently held right here on our website. Catalogues are released three weeks prior to the auction dates giving bidders enough time to peruse the available lots, book viewings, view the legal packs and register themselves to bid.
We are also a firm of estate agents with a sales and lettings team who operate more locally from our office base in Camden Town, NW1.

Our office hours are Monday to Friday 9am – 6pm and Saturdays 9:30am – 1pm.
